InselAir has announced that the airline will commence flights from the Brazilian city of Boa Vista to Georgetown, Guyana on July 4th, 2016. The 65 minute flight will be operated trice weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In a press release, InselAir said that passengers from Boa Vista can conveniently and seamlessly connect to InselAir’s extensive network of 26 destinations in the Pan-American region. Through the airline’s hub in Curacao, destinations such as Miami, Santo Domingo and St. Maarten are now easily accessible.
The airline further stated that they offer passengers 1 free stopover, making it easy and attractive for passengers to combine 2 destinations.
The new route sector will be served using a Regional Jet which can accommodate 80 passengers in two classes.
Round-trip tickets between Boa Vista and Georgetown cost US$150, while the Boa Vista – Curacao tickets cost US$364 return. Passengers will be allowed one free checked bag.
InselAir began its service to the Guyana market in 2014, with Roraima Airways designated as the Ground Handling Services Agent and General Sales Agent.
