As airlines continue to reel from the COVID-19 fall out, Surinam Airways has scheduled limited flights for the month of October 2020 with one weekly Paramaribo – Amsterdam flight using its Airbus A340 aircraft.
The planned operation is as follows:
- Tuesdays: PY993 AMS 11:30 – 16:15 PBM
- Wednesdays: PY994 PBM 18:30 – 08:45+1 AMS
A statement on the airline’s website said that regional service remains suspended until November 15.
Suriname’s President Chandrikapersad Santokhi announced on September 27 that the country will allow direct passenger traffic from The Netherlands.
