Alexandra Correia, Commercial Manager of TGA told Guyana Aviation that strict COVID-19 protocols will be observed, and that the airline can arrange the required 72 hour PCR test for an additional fee of USD$80 in respect of passengers departing from Ogle.

Passengers are each allowed 50 pounds for checked luggage and 5 pounds for hand luggage, however up to 50 additional pounds can be purchased per passenger.

The airline’s cancellation and rescheduling policy dictates that a USD$30 administrative charge will be applied to requests made more that 48 hours prior to departure. Within 48 hours of departure, the admin charge and an additional penalty of 50% of the ticket price will apply.

Both Guyana and Barbados require passengers to produce negative COVID-19 PCR Test results taken within 72 hours of arrival. These documents must be presented to TGA prior to departure.

Tickets can be purchased directly from the airline and further information can be obtained by calling +592-222-2525.

Trans Guyana Airways previously operated a slew of relief flights between the two countries while international scheduled flights were suspended. The Guyana government lifted travel restriction on October 12.
