Caribbean Airlines to fly 3 times weekly between Ogle and Barbados

Caribbean Airlines announced that it will offer three weekly between Eugene F. Correia International Airport (Ogle) and Barbados commencing on October 31. The non-stop flights will operate each Monday, Friday and Saturday, utilising its ATR-72 fleet. 

CEO of Caribbean Airlines, Garvin Medera stated: “Fulfilling the needs of our customers motivates all that we do, and the launch of service between Ogle and Barbados, is in direct response to stakeholder feedback. 

We value the loyalty and support of our customers and it is heartening that in the midst of the pandemic, we are able to introduce these new flights between Ogle and Barbados. Our teams are looking forward to connecting families and friends.

These services to/from Ogle, will complement the airline’s current operations at Cheddi Jagan International, facilitating onward international connections to the UK and beyond and regional connections including St Vincent, Grenada, Dominica, St Vincent, St Lucia and other Caribbean Airlines destinations. 

Caribbean Airlines has the highest frequency of services into and out of Guyana and the largest route network in the Caribbean region.

Together with Trans Guyana Airways, the new service between Ogle and Barbados fills the void created by Liat which previously operated on that route.
