Ogle Airport joins Airports Council International

Airports Council International – Latin America & Caribbean (ACI-LAC) announced that Ogle Airport Inc, operator of Eugene F. Correira International Airport has joined the international body.
The announcement was made via a tweet as they welcomed Guyana’s regional airport to their family.
Ogle Airport is now listed amoung several member airports throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Cheddi Jagan International Airport which is also a member of ACI-LAC, received its health accreditation from the association in September.
ACI-LAC which represents the interests of airports operators for the Latin-American and Caribbean, was founded in 1991 with a mission to provide support for a secure, stable, efficient and environmentally compatible airport system.
Currently, ACI-LAC has over 71 members operating more than 275 airports in 37 countries from the Latin-American and Caribbean region.
