Roraima Airways plane crashes with five aboard

A Roraima Airways plane crashed on Saturday morning approximately three miles from Ogle Airport as it was making its approach.
The Britten-Norman Trilander aircraft bearing the registration 8R-GRE was carrying five persons when it went down aback Eccles on the East Bank Demerara.
Sources report that the aircraft went down in the vicinity of the Eccles Solid Waste Disposal site.
There are no immediate reports of any casualties and photos of the crash shows that the aircraft remains intact.
This accident follows three recent non-fatal incidents in the last few weeks in Guyana’s interior.
