Aircraft runs off airstrip at Eteringbang

A Britten-Norman Islander on Wednesday afternoon ran off the airstrip as it touched down at Eteringbang. There are no reports of injuries to the occupants on board.
The 10-seater aircraft operated by BK Aviation departed Ogle airport around 2:30 p.m. local time with 9 persons on board.
The Islander, with registration marking 8R-GGT, was being piloted by Errol Pearson.
Eteringbang is an unpaved airstrip in the Mazaruni district on the border with Venezuela.
